Uncertain why anyone would rate this glorious establishment anything less than a 4 star. For a particular reviewer who slammed it I can only assume she was offended by herself and decided to take it out on others. Yes there are difficult people who create fault where none actually exist. My dining experience was nothing less than fabulous. Increased by having been joined at brunch with a beautiful classy woman who is sweet, endearing to all around her as well as finely cultivated to the enjoyment of fine dining. I attest to the food and service at Scalini Osteria being exquisite as was the environment, design & character of this restaurants space. Light, fresh & airy, immaculately clean and elegant without being pretentious in the slightest. Food is what most deserves praise and Scalini Osteria is incapable of disappointing even the most finicky of palates. Simple approach to the success of this establishment is providing genuine high quality ingredients chosen for its seasonal freshness. You can validate the appreciation of the dining public by the amount of enjoyment the entire atmosphere has across various spaces within the restaurant. The staff loves the atmosphere too and supports the enjoyment of its dining clientele is a professional yet unobtrusive way. You'll find their attentiveness is remarkably perfectly timed where they avoid interrupting their diners at the table. This is the mark of excellence in management and their willingness to enlist a mature professional waitstaff. We ordered several dishes which we shared from and were blown away by the fact that each dish in was outstanding. Cocktails were delicious and service again was among the best I've come across in recent years. Scalini Osteria reminds of a few of the best restaurants I've enjoyed in the Amalfi Coast. There's a certain sensibility to how this restaurant has chosen to do business and what it means to be viewed by its community in a honest way. It's a great space & place to unwind & indulge indoors or out and love that it's faithful to joy, love & pride of offerings that base the foundation of food where it belongs. No gimmicks here, just clean elegant classical European faire that actually activate the senses of world class dining. Looking forward to returning when my schedule permits. I seldom get excited about returning to any particular restaurant yet for Scalini Osteria I have to say I fondly wish to visit again soon.

It's such a wonderful place for brunch! My family and I have been wanting to try this restaurant for some time, and we finally decided to head in for brunch. Everything was amazing. I got the Crabcake Benedict. It was a very cozy vibe, the staff was extremely polite, and it is very cute. There is indoor and outdoor/garden seating. Will definitely go back!

I've been coming here for years and it's such a cute little spot. They recently redid their outside area, super cute. I totally didn't realize they had a brunch menu on Sundays, but it was affordable and plenty of options. Now the wait was a little long for our entrees (40 mins) but it was worth it. The side salad, bread, and drink held us over while we waited. I'll continue to visit.

One of my favorite restaurants in downtown Bronxville. The food was a little pricy but the quality is good. I ordered beets salad with shrimps and the shrimps were a little overcooked but overall still good. We ordered carrot cake and it was on a little sweet side. But the service was very good and they have very cute outdoor dining area which could be great when the weather is nice

Really nice meal. Food very nice, not too saucy, classy and home-feeling at the same time. Atmosphere very laid back and peaceful. Fancy but not oppressive. For me it was perfect.

If you are looking for excellent Italian food, combined with first class service and wonderful ambiance, this restaurant has it all. There is both inside and outside dining A parking lot is behind the building; also street parking available. I highly recommend this restaurant. Every meal is a memorable experience not to be missed.

Great local Italian restaurant. Hidden gem in bronxville. The restaurant is definitely a home that was flipped. The service was fantastic. Not a lot of people one a Sunday night which made it even better. Perfect for a date night. I had two espresso martinis which were ok. The spicy pomegranate marg was delicious, would definitely order again. Started off with a Cesar salad and grilled rock shrimp. The grilled shrimp was super fresh and delicious. For the entree we ordered the pumpkin ravioli which I wouldn't really recommend because it was heavy on the pumpkin and the branzino which was great. Definitely returning for the margs and to try more food off their menu!
